Pastoral needs taken care of at Wickham Court
"Pupils have access to any staff member regardless of the significance of the issue. Individual pastoral needs are extremely well catered for in class and beyond, with careful consideration being given to their specific backgrounds and circumstances. Pupils spoke of the helpful counselling received from staff at difficult times."
Individualised attention and pastoral care is a key part of your child’s experience at Wickham Court. Our small classes allow this emphasis, and throughout your child’s time with us we seek to develop a strong partnership between pupil, school, and family. This individual emphasis, and considering your child as a person enables your child to flourish.
At Wickham Court, we are committed to educating the whole person, encouraging an open and caring atmosphere so that when your child needs to talk, they feel safe and secure enough in their school environment to talk to one of their teachers, knowing that they will listen and go through a process to resolve an issue or help them.
We believe that small classes and individualised attention for all our pupils is essential for learning to flourish and we recognise that education is very much a partnership between pupil, school and family. We look on every child as an individual and they are central to everything we do.
