Years 5 and 6

During Pi day, Year 5 had fun investigating different sized circles. We measured the circumferences using string and divided by the diameters.
I wonder which important fascinating number we found? - Pi!

Year 6’s first challenge was to establish the WALT from look at a very happy Homer Simpson with a slice of pie in his hand! The WALT was to plan and carry out an investigation into the nature of pi, or π.
