We have been very busy this week…a special Diwali assembly… Life Bus Visit...preparing forShrek’s Adventure kingdom…all this in addition to our usual lessons.
Year 4 presented their project work on Diwali accompanied by lots of facts, the story underlying the festival and a melodious song marking the festival. Diwali is the five-day festival of lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. The festival, which coincides with the Hindu New Year, celebrates new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil, and light over darkness. Each religion marks different historical events and stories. Hindus celebrate the return of Rama and Sitato Ayodhyaafter their 14-year exile.An impressive presentation Year 4!
