A huge THANK YOU to our incredible cast of Victorian performers! On Monday, we were spoilt with a fabulous assembly led by Year 5, who told us many fascinating facts about life during the Victorian era.
Schools, jobs, transport and games were the main focus of the assembly and Year 5 shared their learning with us from their history unit this term.
Year 5 finished their assembly with a short drama about life in Victorian school. Mr Kemp, the very strict Head teacher kept the children in order. He ensured that they learnt their times tables by rote; could recall facts from nature study classes and did not allow them to speak without permission…if only some of the rules stayed the same!Previous
