On Tuesday, 9th of October, we held our Harvest Celebration at the Church. We were absolutely delighted with the generous contributions that will be passed on to those in need. It was also great to see so many families at the service to share our special celebration.
Thank you to all the children and a special mention in particular to our Year four pupils who spoke with such confidence and shared poetry and thoughts about Harvest time.
Reverend Jonathan led us in prayer and helped us to understand the true meaning of our celebration. As he said, two words can sum it up-THANK YOU!
The music and singing was of a very high standard. We had Early Years through to Year 6 performing. The choir also sang with solo performances that made us gasp in amazement-Vaonaishe, David and Bvunzaiishe. Well done to you; we were very proud. The songs performed at the service included 'Beautiful World', 'Everybody Praise Him' and many more. The final hymn 'We Plough the Fields and Scatter' was joined in by everyone. None of this would have been possible without Mrs Corrigan's hard work and dedication.
We thank you enormously.
